JAMB Change of Institution and Course Form is Out

It's official. I just stumbled on it at myschool.com.ng.

Change of course/institution has started. It started today.

But unlike other years, you CAN'T do it at a cybercafe. You need to go to the nearest CBT center to you.

THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE GOING AHEAD

• Cut-off mark. Very important. Please make sure that the school you are putting doesn't have a higher cut-off
• You are free to change all your courses/institutions at the same time
• Make sure that your course/institution's JAMB subject combination is the same with the one you used in JAMB. You can use the JAMB BROCHURE to verify. Check it out on JAMB website.
• Not all schools/courses will be available. So my best advice is to have up to 3 or 4 options, in case.
• They may charge you N2,500.

Many people have not seen theirs. As a result, most people (including our group members) are panicking.

But there is no need to panic.

How The Federal Character Principle Is Sinking Nigeria

While making research for my latest article (you can see it here… http://smoothadmission.blogspot.com.ng/2017/04/how-to-legitimately-increase-your.html ), I dug up a lot of awful secrets: secrets that could be a component part of a ticking time bomb.

I discovered the danger and absurdity of the Nigerian Federal character.

Definition: Federal Character Principle is a principle in the Nigerian Constitution that tries to give every part of Nigeria a sense of belonging and fairness by giving less developed (or disadvantaged) states special considerations when sharing national resources.

The principle, “giving every part of Nigeria a sense of belonging and fairness” is good.

But the practice, “giving less developed (or less advanced) states special consideration when sharing national resources” is where the danger is hiding.

It defeats the purpose.

Breaking News! JAMB Has Extended Registration Date and Prosponed the Main Exam

The registrar himself, Prof. Is-haq Olarewaju Oloyede said it in Abuja Today, Monday 10 April, 2017.

According to him, registration  will now end on Friday, May 5, 2017 while the examination will now start on Saturday, May 13, 2017 and end the next Saturday, 20th May, 2017.
